I became really impressed with The Raconteurs after hearing a few select songs in the surfing film The Drifter starring the amazing Rob Machado. The song Top Yourself is particularly poetically written and brutally honest; words I wish I had the indecency to speak myself sometimes. Click below to have a listen.

Tegan and Sara have long been amazing musicians in my mind, and their latest album doesn’t disappoint. The Ocean (track 11 on this album) contains amazing lyrics. Some musicians flow and do things right, they “get it.” Tegan and Sara fit that description. Enjoy!
